I recently stayed at Hotel Des Rochers for a week during my road trip. The location is fantastic, with stunning views from the rooms and dining terrace. The hotel is away from the town center, but they offer a great basic diner and breakfast. The family owners take pride in their hotel, which is very clean and has a charming, old-fashioned feel. Despite the dated decor, the suites were comfortable and we enjoyed sleeping with the windows open to the refreshing mountain air. The wifi worked well too.

My mind was blown by the incredible location of this hotel, with jaw-dropping views from the balcony. The staff were super friendly and made our stay extremely comfortable. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was huge, although the quirky toilet placement took us by surprise. The on-site restaurant had the best food and drinks we've had on our entire trip through France, and the free Wi-Fi, car park, and flat-screen TV were added bonuses. Plus, the fact that pets were allowed made it even better. this hotel was worth every penny, even though it was on the pricier side compared to the other places we stayed during our road trip. Can't wait to come back after a 20-year hiatus!
